Demetrees Hutchins, PHD

Communication & Change Manager

As the Implementation Training Manager, Demetrees is working to support a Project Management Office (PMO) for the implementation of the new statewide automated Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) for the Indiana Department of Child Services. She has extensive experience helping organizations implement new data systems, train staff on collecting and using data and prepare research summary reports.

She earned a PhD in Higher Education and Institutional Research, Master’s degree in Philanthropic Studies and Nonprofit Management, and Bachelor’s degree in Informatics from Indiana University. Demetrees is passionate about bridging gaps in service, bringing organizations together and helping communities thrive. She enjoys working with youth serving organizations, education institutions, government agencies and nonprofit foundations who focus on social inequities and injustice, underserved and underrepresented populations and policy change work that increase social outcomes for all.

The favorite thing about her job is meeting clients and helping them use collective impact and data-driven decision making strategies to increase effectiveness and successfully achieve goals.
