Amanda Lopez

President

Amanda Lopez is President and Founder of Transform Consulting Group. She leads a team dedicated to helping organizations make sense of data through the development of tools and systems. Amanda works with organizations and their leaders to develop competencies and skills to make them more effective and sustainable. This often results in creating strategic plans, fund development plans, and board governance tools. She also brings together diverse partners to address the problems that are bigger than any one organization can solve alone (following a collective impact framework).

Amanda holds a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in policy and program evaluation from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society with honors from Purdue University.

Prior to starting Transform Consulting Group, she was the Policy Director of an association of human service organizations in Los Angeles and worked for the federal government at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the Budget Office, the Head Start Office and the Children’s Bureau through the prestigious Presidential Management Fellowship program.

Amanda is most proud of how TCG is helping organizations use the data that they have to improve their work. This looks different for each client but typically involves leadership growth with the client’s staff as they grasp the importance and value of data; program changes that lead to improved results; affirmation of the client’s staff that the work they are doing IS making a difference and matters and so many more.

She’s also pumped about the data dashboard and data visualization work. Her team at TCG is using these tools to connect client’s data, make the data user-friendly and share the data in an accessible format for staff, partners and other key stakeholders.
